It depends entirely on what you rented. Indian Rocks Beach bans unregistered golf carts from Gulf Boulevard through town but permits registered low-speed vehicles on it. Our whole fleet is registered LSVs, so yes — Gulf Boulevard is legal for our carts.

An LSV is a registered motor vehicle: VIN, tag, insurance, seat belts, lights, signals, mirrors and a windshield. A golf cart has none of that legal standing. In Indian Rocks Beach the distinction decides whether you can use the main road or only the side streets.

The town raised its minimum to 18 in June 2026, and drivers must carry ID. Our own rental policy is stricter — renters must be 21 or older with a valid licence and active personal auto insurance — so 21 is the number that applies when you rent from us.

Indian Rocks Beach has around thirty public accesses spread along the town, most with a shower, so you're rarely far from one. Park at an access and walk on — carts are never allowed on the sand itself.

Yes. Gulf Boulevard continues south into Indian Shores at the same posted speed, so it's a straightforward and pretty drive. North toward Belleair Beach works the same way.
